I'm Jason Barnett. I live in Akron, Ohio, where I design cool apps to help people.

I'm the founder and CEO of JayTech as well as a full-stack developer @ Moreland Connect, where we develop software and hardware creations to empower the smallest smart home projects to the largest enterprise business workflows. On the side, I tinker with new technologies and build fun projects to learn new skills.

In 2010 (I was about 14 years old), I got the very first iPad when it was announced. I thought it was the most amazing piece of tech ever, and it didn't even have a camera! Since then, I've been obsessed with all the newest tech and gadgets, keeping up with the scientific advances in computers, and learning how to utilize all of that greatness in our everyday lives. My dream as a kid was to have an app on the app store. I've been working on that dream ever since, and I'm proud to say that I have more than accomplished that goal. I can now build full websites, build mobile apps, build cloud infrastructure, and even tinker with some hardware to make some cool gadgets.

My obsession with tech shows through my work as I am always down to try new things, or spend a weekend coding away a new project, or chat with someone about a new project idea.

I want to help people and make the world a better place. I am going to do that through the power of technology. If you want to come along for the ride, drop me a line and let's get rolling!

P.S. I'm a pretty laid back guy, and I like to keep things that way. I hate all the formalities and corporate headquarters feelings when dealing with people. I'm not a suit and tie kind of guy; I like to wear jeans and a t-shirt. I'll show my worth through my work, not my apparel and a few fancy worded emails. With that out of the way, I'm always down to chat about tech, or just hang out and talk about life. I'm a pretty open book, so feel free to reach out!
